This mint chocolate chip coconut milkshake blends homemade coconut milk, spinach, ripe avocado, raw honey, ice, fresh spearmint, and two measured pieces of homemade cocoa-butter chocolate. The result is thick, cold, pale green, and dotted with minuscule chocolate pieces.

A two-serving milkshake is a useful size in our house when two people want a cold treat but I do not want to make a full dessert batch for all six children. The blender does the work quickly, and the avocado gives the drink a creamy body without needing commercial ice cream.
This formula stays separate from the WFLI mint-chocolate coconut ice cream. The milkshake uses a full liquid coconut-milk base and one cup ice, while the ice cream has its own churned or frozen structure. They can link to each other without sharing one card.
What This Mint Chocolate Milkshake Tastes Like
Fresh spearmint gives the shake a cool, green flavor without tasting harsh. Raw honey provides the sweetness, coconut milk makes the base rich, and avocado gives it a dense, creamy texture. Spinach deepens the color but should not dominate the finished flavor.
The homemade chocolate pieces soften at their edges in the blender but remain as very small dark flecks. You should taste brief chocolate bits rather than a uniformly chocolate-colored drink. The finished shake is pale green, not brown.
Cold thickness comes from the measured ice and avocado. The drink should pour in a slow ribbon and settle smoothly in the glass. It should not be watery, foamy, or thick enough to hold a spoon upright.
Where It Fits On GAPS
This is an occasional Later Full GAPS dessert after digestive symptoms are gone and pure organic cocoa has been introduced and tolerated. It is not an Introduction Diet or early Full GAPS milkshake.
Use homemade full-fat noncanned coconut milk. The WFLI Hot-Water Homemade Coconut Milk provides a separate component method. Measure 14 fluid ounces after the milk is finished and chilled.
The chocolate must come from two equally molded pieces of the WFLI Honey-Sweetened Cocoa-Butter Chocolate Chunks. Ordinary commercial chocolate is not substituted, and the phrase two pieces is not converted into an invented weight.
The source vanilla, commercial collagen powder, peppermint essential oil, and mint-extract branches are omitted. Four fresh spearmint leaves preserve the defining mint flavor.
Prepare The Chocolate Pieces First
Choose two chocolate pieces that were made in the same mold so their size is equal. Chop them with a sharp knife into small bits. Keep every bit on the cutting board and scrape it into the pitcher so the measured two-piece amount stays intact.
The pieces should be small enough to circulate but not grated into powder. Tiny irregular chips give the finished milkshake the intended flecked texture. Large squares can sit beneath the blade path or produce a few oversized chunks instead of even distribution.

Load The Ninja Pitcher In A Practical Order
Pour the 14 fluid ounces coconut milk into the exact Ninja BN801 pitcher first. Add the spinach, avocado, honey, ice, chopped chocolate, and four spearmint leaves. Liquid at the bottom helps the blades catch the greens and avocado.
The avocado should be ripe enough to yield to gentle pressure and have clean green flesh without dark wet areas. The spinach leaves should look fresh, and the spearmint should smell distinctly cool when rubbed between two dry fingers.
Blend Smooth Without Erasing The Chocolate
Secure the lid and blend until the coconut milk, spinach, avocado, honey, ice, and mint become uniformly smooth. The motor sound will become steady as the ice breaks down and the greens disappear into the base.
Watch the color and texture through the pitcher. Stop when the drink is pale green and creamy with minuscule dark chocolate flecks. Do not continue until every chocolate piece has disappeared into a brown drink.

Use The Physical Cues Before Pouring
Lift the pitcher from the base and tilt it slightly. The milkshake should move as one thick, smooth mass, and tiny dark chocolate flecks should remain suspended instead of collecting at the bottom.
Smell the opened pitcher. Fresh mint should be noticeable before the avocado or spinach. If a whole spinach leaf clings near the lid or an avocado piece remains on the wall, scrape it down and blend briefly again.
Serve Immediately
Divide the milkshake between two glasses and serve it immediately. As the ice melts, the drink becomes thinner and the chocolate can settle, so the fresh texture is part of the recipe.
For four servings, use the card’s 2× control so the coconut milk, spinach, avocado, honey, ice, chocolate pieces, and spearmint all double together. Do not enlarge only the liquid or ice.
Storage
This milkshake is designed to be blended and served at once. A stored finished shake loses its thick ice texture, darkens as the greens stand, and separates from the chocolate flecks.
Prepare ahead by chilling the coconut milk, washing and drying the greens and mint, and keeping the homemade chocolate pieces cold. Cut the avocado and blend only when you are ready to serve.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I Use Canned Coconut Milk?
Use homemade full-fat noncanned coconut milk for this adaptation. Measure 14 fluid ounces after the milk is prepared.
Can I Use Commercial Chocolate Chips?
No. Use two equally molded pieces from the linked honey-sweetened cocoa-butter chocolate recipe and chop them small.
Can I Add Peppermint Extract Or Essential Oil?
No. This adaptation uses four fresh spearmint leaves and omits the extract and essential-oil branches.
Why Is My Milkshake Brown?
It blended past the intended endpoint or the chocolate pieces were too small before blending. Stop while the base remains pale green and the chocolate is still visible as minuscule flecks.
Can I Leave Out The Spinach?
Spinach is part of the measured source formula and helps define its green milkshake identity. A spinach-free version would need its own tested balance.
