About

Well Fed & Lived In is where I share the parts of GAPS I wanted another parent to explain clearly: the food, the hard weeks, and the routines that make it possible in a busy home.

I’m Ebonie

I’m a working, homeschooling mom of six, and my family has followed GAPS since July 2024. I have studied Gut and Psychology Syndrome and Gut and Physiology Syndrome in depth, and I use both books in our day-to-day GAPS practice and when I write about the protocol. I begin Certified GAPS Coach training in April 2027.

Why I Started This Site

We started GAPS in July 2024 after my research kept bringing me back to gut health, a speech delay, and eczema. The first six weeks were horrible. The changes that came later are why this work still matters so much to our family.

I write about the part between the instructions and the dinner table. That includes what we eat, picky eating, the tools that help, what did not work for us, and how I fit all of it around homeschooling, marriage, work, and six children.

This is our family’s experience, not individual medical advice. When a subject needs more than our story, I link the original material so you can read it for yourself.

For guided preparation, Understanding & Preparing for the GAPS Diet is available now. The free 11-page GAPS Food List gives you a quick reference.
