Three-ingredient avocado lime guacamole for Full GAPS

Three-Ingredient Avocado-Lime Guacamole for Full GAPS

A simple Full GAPS guacamole made with three ripe avocados, two tablespoons fresh lime juice, and one-half teaspoon natural sea salt.
Servings: 8 condiment portions
Course: Condiment, Snack
Cuisine: GAPS, Mexican-Inspired

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon natural sea salt

Equipment

  • Sharp stainless paring or chef's knife
  • Wooden cutting board
  • Stainless spoon
  • Medium glass or ceramic mixing bowl
  • Stainless dinner fork or potato masher
  • Measuring spoons
  • Flexible scraper for the seven-layer-dip layer

Method

  1. Cut the scaled avocados lengthwise, remove every pit, scoop all flesh completely away from the peels, and place the six clean flesh halves in a medium glass or ceramic bowl.
Six scooped avocado halves from three ripe avocados in a supported bowl
  2. Pour the scaled fresh lime juice across the avocado and sprinkle the scaled sea salt evenly over the bowl.
  3. Mash with a fork, turning the bowl as you work, until about half the avocado forms a creamy base and the rest remains in small soft pieces. Fold from the bottom until the lime and salt are evenly distributed and no large untouched half remains.
Three avocados partly mashed with lime and salt to a medium chunky texture
  4. Serve immediately, or press into an even layer, cover, and refrigerate until ready to assemble the seven-layer dip.

Notes

Full GAPS: Use when ripe raw avocado and fresh lime fit the eater's current Full GAPS placement. Avocado may accompany meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, and salads.
Different guacamole: This measured three-ingredient batch is separate from the WFLI five-ingredient guacamole with onion and garlic.
Timing and storage: The larger source does not isolate a fixed prep time or a tested standalone leftover window. Keep covered and refrigerated and use promptly.
2x: Use 6 ripe avocados, 4 tablespoons fresh lime juice, and 1 teaspoon natural sea salt. Divide into two bowls if needed for easier mashing.
