  2. Warm over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring, until steamy but not simmering. Remove from the heat and cool for at least 5 minutes, until warm rather than steaming. Stir in 1/2 cup honey and any optional additional honey.
  3. Put the remaining 4 cups cold homemade coconut milk and 8 raw yolks in the Ninja BN801 pitcher. Add the cooled spiced mixture, secure the lid, and blend on low for 10 to 15 seconds, only until the color is even with no yolk streaks.

Notes

  • Full GAPS: Use after homemade coconut milk, raw yolks, honey, spices, and optional gelatin are introduced and tolerated.
  • Coconut milk: Use 5 cups homemade additive-free coconut milk, not canned coconut milk.
  • Honey: Start with 1/2 cup. The optional additional 2 2/3 tablespoons brings the total to the source maximum of 2/3 cup.
  • Whites: When raw whites are introduced, beat the 8 reserved whites to stiff peaks and fold them into the finished eggnog for the source’s optional finish.
  • Alcohol: The source’s optional liquor branch is omitted.
